About Mike, Jamie, Malon, and Adiah Holmes

Mike was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He received JESUS as his

LORD and SAVIOR at age 15. He subsequently rededicated his life to the

LORD at age 26 while attending Refuge Church in Olney, MD. While

attending Refuge Church, Mike sang on the choir, was involved with the

Youth Ministry, and was the Step Team Coordinator.

During this time period, he married his queen and another believer in the

faith, Jamie (who was born in Washington, D.C.). GOD subsequently blessed

Mike and Jamie with two royal precious blessings, Malon (born in Burnsville,

Minnesota) and Adiah (born in Dover, DE) (both of whom were led and

made the individual choice receive JESUS as their LORD and SAVIOR on

October 31, 2008).

Mike later became an Ordained Minister while living in Delaware. In addition

to serving in various ministerial capacities, Mike also served as an Usher and

he and Jamie both served as Marriage Ministry Coordinators. Jamie also

served in Children’s Ministry and was the Dance Ministry Coordinator. Over

the years, Malon served as Jr. Security and on the Worship Team while

Adiah served in Dance Ministry and on the Worship team.

In April 2017, Mike received the Calling from the LORD to be a Pastor. The

Call included to begin the Local Church Assembly in 2020. During this time,

as an initial soft launch for 2020, in August 2019, GOD through Mike started

a monthly Bible study.

On August 30, 2020, GOD officially launched HIS local Church Assembly

Ministry through Mike as Pastor named Understanding the Bible

Ambassadors’ Assembly.

Mike loves and is grateful to the LORD. He desires and continues to grow in

the LORD through the Holy Spirit and humbly desires to be used by GOD as a

vessel for his family and for people in the earth by advancing the Kingdom of God.
